Our trip before she comes...

We have about 26 more days until her arrival, we are both excited about that but we also know our lives will change...so we had our trip before she arrived to SD. Oh it was so enjoyable and I praise God for every moment of it. I wanted it make sure that throughout the time we were there I didn't want us to think about all the things we still needed to do before she came home. I wanted us to enjoy each other's company and be able to relax together. And God answered our prayers and fulfilled our desires. Here's some pictures from our trip. We both were able to praise God for all His blessings, and praise God for His beauty. It was a very needed vacation.

For dinner we decided to go to Little Italy (we had no idea SD had this)

For breakfast we went to a very tasty French Pastry place...oh so good!!
then off to the reason we chose SD for our vacation...

fortunately for us we had to wait 2 hours before we got in so we decided to take a nap in the car and walk around Balboa Park before we were able to go see the exhibit.

I enjoyed the exhibit very much, seeing the little scrolls and how some of them had Scripture was amazing. When we left the exhibit the sun was finally coming out to play.


It was around 5pm Saturday evening when we decided to go back to the hotel. Why you might ask? Well between 5-6pm our hotel host a "wine hour" where they provide their guest with wine...and if you know my husband...he's all about wine. We headed to the bar lounge on the 4th floor to see the sunset.


Unfortunately we didn't get to go to Extraordinary Desserts, but we did get to go Ghirardelli Chocolate and Ice Cream....oh gotta love it (sorry no pictures). Our trip ended with going to La Jolla Cove
